This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.

Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest regular issue at the time of purchase.

-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.
-If a subscription offers a free trial, at the end of the trial period, you will be charged the full price of the subscription. You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription settings on your iTunes account. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged.

Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.

We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update, please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

I found myself buying the mag often at the bookstore. Since Im in Canada it can be pricey. I got the app, got to choose my free issue and have bought another since and will buy more!! Super easy to use, has everything the paper mag has and is so cheap to buy!!! Wood be cool if the advertisers could have their links put on their ads. I highly recommend this EASY to download and use app!!

Hmm.. This mysteriously improved dramatically, though I didnt get any updates. Its a lot faster and smoother than before. Though it could be a bit better, its now a good app. As before, contente is excellent -~-~- Really good content, when you can get it... Ive tried restarting, reinstalling, etc but I cant get it to work well. Very slow and crashy. Maybe its iPhone 5 or iOs 6s fault; I dunno

Like the content. Great magazine that spans different riding disciplines. Easy access on iPhone.

Some bad moments

This is the worst app ever! Because you have to buy all the issues and the free one doesnt even work! Dont get it!

Are you freaking serious? I paid $2.99 so I could pay to download magazine issues? Why on earth wouldnt I just subscribe to the magazine or go buy it?! I fail to see the reasoning behind a cost for this app. The app store needs a trial-basis purchase option... Dont waste your money on this app--just go buy the magazine. I wish I could give negative stars.

Just bought the April issue -- paid for it "purchase successful" and it is nowhere to be found. Not in my library, not anywhere. Worthless.

I think I have waisted $2.99 because in order to download other issues it costs the same $5 as if I purchased at Tractor Supply. I would think a proper price would be $1 an issue to download seeing how there is no cost for print, only your employee(s) to format digitally for this app. Very dissappointed.

I dont know how this is not getting great reviews. The design is awesome, so easy to navigate. As for the magazine content - great!!.

I had major issues with my account! I bought the 1 month recurring subscription, and after I bought it the app completely quit on me. I relaunched it several times and it kept quitting. I checked my apple Id and Horse&Rider took the money from my account, but I couldnt read the magazines!! I restarted my iPad and got one issue, but It said I wasnt connected to the Internet so I couldnt login to get my previously downloaded issues!! I checked my apple Id again and I had $8 missing from my account! The subscription only cost $3.99!! Where did my money go?! I dont want this mess happening to anyone else so DO NOT BUY ANY SUBSCRIPTIONS!!!!
